There is no lack of barista competitions, bright and certified judges, “sanctioned bodies” in the coffee world. (READ; in our opinion, an excellent article on “What’s Wrong with the WBC”). Competition is definitely a good thing created to raise the standard of professional coffee making in the world. It however, should not just be another means to an end (“...to compete for the riches”). What is scarce sadly are individuals really committed to making and serving a good cup coffee consistently to customers. It is rare to find folks that possess that true passion for coffee.
You must believe what we stand for and have the sincere desire to work with us or be our partner when the opportunity arises. You should have completed our Pro Level I & II workshops and have undergone a face-to-face interview with us before we decide if you got what it takes to succeed. To Be Advised
This Advanced Espresso Course is a continuation from level I and can be completed on the same day. This course focuses on achieving effective grinding, tamping and dosing skills for great extractions, mastering milk texturing, advanced latte art, coffee cupping (tasting) and greater details on espresso machine maintenance.
