  • A cup of black freshly brewed black coffee made by a coffee machine costs between conservatively $0.30 to $0.35; against the SGD 5.00  you have to pay at the cafes. Do you provide RENTAL on coffee machines for offices?
We do not provide coffee machine on loan.

Going with a coffee machine loan programme eventually translates into higher cost for your company. As you pay for rental, you are actually paying off the supplier eventually without even owning the equipment! More often than not, you will be provided with a USED machine and do not have a choice of beans to use.

If you are looking at long term gains, your investment in purchasing your own machine will likely be a better cup of coffee and owning an asset easily amortized within a few years. We believe that if you own the machine, you should be more committed to delivering quality coffee. We have the track record and experience to share with you what it takes to make a great cup.

Can I see a demonstration at our own office?

We do not do offer onsite demonstration at your place. However, we are happy to demonstrate the various machines at one of our designated showroom. Please contact us by submitting your enquiry request for appoitment online.

Do we have to use your coffee beans in order to be covered for warranty if we purchase a coffee machine from Highlander Coffee?
YES, we prefer so.

However, we maintain that the machine comes fully covered with a ONE YEAR warranty onsite on labour and parts (not due to mishandling or act of God); provided the user maintain the exclusive use of Highlander Coffee beans during this period.

We will first teach and always advise the customer to strictly do their daily maintenance at the close of the working day. Failure to do so can result in a bad cup of coffee, shorten machine’s lifespan and cause unnecessary downtime resulting in opportunity costs.

After the expiry of the ONE FULL WARRANTY and if you are still using our Highlander Coffee beans, we will provide all the necessary technical support; i.e. the first level support at no charge by phone (Tel: 62261686) and email ([email protected]). Should you require an onsite repair, labour and transportation charge will be WAIVED. ONLY PARTS REPLACEMENT charges will apply and the customer must be agreeable first.

After our purchase, what is the technical support you will provide should we face an issue with machine?
After commissioning, we will firstly provide phone (Tel: 62261686) and email support ([email protected]). If the issue cannot be resolved, we will send our technician to support you. For Jura machines, if the problem remains unresolved, we will return the machine to our workshop to fix. At our discretion, should the machine require longer time to recover, we will likely provide you a stand-in set to use until your original set is serviceable. Just for your information, the policy should you decide to buy direct from Ricmas (our manufacturer principle), transport charges will apply if they have to bring it back to their facility to fix. We do not charge because this comes as a privilege with your exclusive use our Highlander Coffee beans. You may wish to know that our response time is really fast if not the fastest available in the market.

With the expiry of the ONE FULL WARRANTY and if you are still using our Highlander Coffee beans, we will provide all the necessary technical support; i.e. the first level support at no charge by phone (Tel: 62261686) and email ([email protected]). Again, there will be no transportation charge should the machine be fixed at our inhouse workshop. HOWEVER, you will be charged ONLY for PARTS REPLACEMENT.

Do you have a technical support team and how fast is your response?

Typically our response time is within the next few hours onsite or within latest the same working day. Often, problems are easily solved instantly over the phone or by electronic correspondences.

How do we go about purchasing and making payment for a coffee machine from Highlander Coffee?
Once you have agreeable to buying from us, please send us an official P.O. or email confirmation ([email protected]). Please state the address, contact person, email, phone number, desired date and time for the machine to be delivered. We will let you know if the your schedule is feasible with us.

Do you roast your own coffee beans and does Highlander Coffee possesses the required food safety certifications?
We pioneered INSTORE roasting in Aug 2006 with a 3kg Diedrich from USA for our own use at our espresso bar and retail beans. This is a Singapore NEA approved practice. As we naturally progress to the wholesale business, we outsourced our roasting to an AVA approved 3rd party roaster. In Singapore, it is illegal to roast beans instore (NEA certification) and supply wholesale to other food and beverage establishments. As our wholesale business grew, it is only right we eventually become a AVA certified wholesale roaster and supplier. Our roasting facility is located at Food Exchange, 28 km away from our espresso bar (NEA certified since 2006)!
